Retrofest Charity Fundraising Day 21.3.2020
Retrofest is a Charity Fundraising Day in March on behalf of local Charity Bognorphenia. Co-hosted by Zoe Pniewski of My Special Event, Retrofest is a celebration of everything from the 1950s to 1980’s.
Retrofest will have live entertainment throughout the day and the event will be split into two. The afternoon session is for the families with FREE Children’s Workshops, Face Painting, Rides and lots of lovely Vintage and Retro themed stalls with local suppliers. Entry is by suggested donation and we will be raising money for Bognorphenia and supporting their annual event Our Generation Young Peoples Day which is normally held in September at Hotham Park, Bognor Regis. This event is 2 days of family fun with again, workshops, stalls, food and drink, rides and even the occasionally Mods and Rockers visiting to add to the celebration bringing with them vintage/retro scooters and motor vehicles.
Bognorphenia and a little bit about what they do
Bognorphenia is a non-profit organisation (CIC Company 9212583)who support young people through music, and providing skill-sharing and mentoring all for FREE throughout the year. Bognorphenia was the creation of and is run by their Managing Director Kez Bridger, who with over 30 years experience in Charity and event’s work has a strong team of volunteers on hand to help with these fundraising events. Each year, as previously mentioned they hold a Music Fundraising Event again supporting young people through their ticket sales, raffles and auctions. This is one of the reasons why we contact various companies and businesses to help with donating raffle prizes for these worthy causes.

Bognorphenia and My Special Event have had an offer of a special raffle donation for their cause this March.
