Mark Lake of Bognor Regis is by day a Music Teacher, however, by night he is an entertainer. Mark is one of the musicians who will be playing at My Special Event and The Vintage Tea Birds upcoming Wedding and Events Fayre.
Mark Lake Music Tuition
Mark Lake offers students of all ages music lessons at his studio based in Essex Road Bognor Regis. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge playing a variety of instruments including:

Ukulele to Evening Entertainment
Mark Lake has now branched out and offers Event Entertainment for your event. Mark can offer your event a great evening of entertainment from offering background music for your guests, performance songs for your guests to specific song requests. Mark can work with you to get the best out of his performance for your “special event” and offers a variety of music genres.
Multi-talented and Performance Ready
Mark has been musical nearly all his life, from tapping and singing along when his mother was teaching piano lessons, to starting piano aged 6, and a trumpet when he was 10. Then he taught himself both guitar and electric bass in his teens and also began writing songs then too. In the last few years, he has also hopped on the ukulele bandwagon and is beginning to pick up banjo and mandolin!
He has been a member of numerous bands over the last 20 years, including the Essex Youth Jazz Orchestra, performing to fairly large audiences at a variety of venues, and even a number of village and town fetes providing entertainment just with guitar and his own songs. He created and worked with several bands of young people when he was a youth worker, also arranging and presenting the music for a high school production of ‘We Will Rock You’.
Mark moved to Bognor Regis and became a full-time music teacher in 2018 offering one to one and small group music lessons on all the instruments he plays as well as running lots of music workshops and groups.
Mark Lake has had many years experience with his teaching and is now performing at our Wedding and Events Fayre to help launch his new “Evening Entertainment” business. Mark will be amongst 2 other musicians entertaining the guests throughout the day with his multiple instruments and styles. From classical to modern-day Mark promises to entertain you all and will be on hand to answer any questions you have about hiring him for your event.
Mark has earned himself 5 Star reviews from many of his happy students and clients. He is described as “excellent”, “enjoyable” and “highly informative tuition”.

Learn to Play Day
Mark Lake, as well as a few other local musicians, will be taking part in this years Learn to Play Day.
Learn to Play Day is a FREE Taster Session open to all members of the general public to come along and try out an instrument…..Learn to Play!!

The session will take place on Saturday 28th March 2020 between 10 am – 4 pm and you can call to book or just turn up on the day.
Mikes Music and Art & Music are hoping to offer free taster session for Cello, Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, Flute, Clarinet and Saxophone.
