Gifted from such a young age
Hollie began to learn the violin at the age of seven, she went on to study for a bachelor of music degree in violin performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, receiving a partial scholarship to attend the conservatoire.
Hollie is now leading a busy freelance playing career. Hollie regularly works with a number of different string quartets, orchestras and bands.
Although classically trained, Hollie enjoys exploring many different musical styles, including folk and popular music. Hollie has performed at some of the country’s most prestigious concert venues, including the Royal Albert Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall so you know when you hire her you are hiring the best. Hollie is available to play at weddings throughout the UK and beyond. She has played at some of the most prestigious wedding venues in the UK, including the Four Seasons Hotel, Hampshire and The Dorchester Hotel, London.
Hollie can play for all aspects of your special day:
- Welcoming the guests before the ceremony and playing during the ceremony itself
- Entertaining guests during the drinks reception

Many Styles to Suit your Requirements
Hollie can play either classical or more modern/pop music and, if appropriate, will play with high-quality backing tracks. If there is a particular song or piece of music that is special to you and is not on her example repertoire list, Hollie will do her utmost to accommodate this. Hollie can play with or without amplification, depending on the size of the venue, and can even play on electric violin if desired.
