Happy 2020
Happy New Year from My Special Event. My Special Event has come back after the Christmas Break and is cracking on with the busy year ahead and the events already planned. New Year brings new challenges for everyone and the best way to deal with the workload is to take it one step at a time and that is exactly what I am planning on doing.
Happy New Year 1st Event
My Special Event is pleased to announce that their 1st exciting event of the year…….Lip Sync Battle in association with Barretts Wessex Charity.
Lip Sync Battle – 1.2.2020
The brainchild of Laura Choules and hosted by Matt Woodman, this fantastic event is an afternoon of talented local people performing some well known classic tunes by lip-syncing to them. My Special Event along with a few other locals have been asked to participate in this event by judging the talent put in front of them. So could we find the next Robbie Williams, Rhianna or Britney Spears in Bognor?
As well as the Lip Sync Battle which will be between 4 pm and 5 pm, there will be a raffle with some fantastic prizes on offer. Tickets will be £1 for the raffle and tickets for the main event are £10.50 (includes a 50p booking fee) for adults and £5.25 for Under 16’s. Refreshments will be on offer too. All proceeds will be going to help Barretts Wessex with the wonderful work they do as a Charity helping patients and their families who are suffering from the effects of Barrett’s Oesophagus. They offer help and education, about this condition, which unfortunately can affect anyone.

2020 and more New Events
2020 brings a new and exciting year for My Special Event. Not only the Lip Sync Battle but My Special Event is also running their very own Wedding and Events Fayre (details to come) – March, organising a friends wedding later on in the year and then a Community Fundraising Day for Dementia Care in August. Juggling all these events is going to be fun, but Zoe Pniewski of My Special Event is ready for all the challenges ahead and looks forward to working with her existing suppliers and some new ones.
